Skills/Requirements:
- 5-10 years of Oracle Database Administration experience
- 2-4 years as database architect or senior member of the DBA team
- Database installs (silent install)
- Database patching and upgrades
- Backups and recoveries using RMAN integrated with NetBackup
- OEM and Grid Control
- Experience in managing MS SQL database is preferred
- Consolidated database performance and uptime reporting
- Management of databases in SAP environment
ESS1041: SQL SERVER DBA
Location: North Suburbs, IL Type: Contract to Hire (Candidates must be willing to go full-time and must not need sponsorship. Please provide full-time salary expectations with submittals)
Highlights:
- 5 - 8 years total SQL Server DBA experience
- Must have experience working in a clustered SQL environment
- Must have experience with SQL server migration's ('05 - '08 / '00 - '05)
- Must have worked within large environments
- Will be one of two DBA's responsible for 200 servers
- Blend of production and development environments
Skills/Experience:
- 1-2 years as database architect or senior member of the DBA team
- Experience in Installing and configuring new database servers including SQL Cluster
- Strong knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, and clustering
- Strong experience in Database migration and upgrades
- Experience in disaster recovery practices
- Knowledge of SQL Server tools (Profiler, DTA, SSMS, PerfMon, DMVs, system stored procs)
- Knowledge of SSIS/DTS
- Understanding of ITIL Framework, Incident, Change, service request and problem management etc.
- Good acquaintance with Windows server, Windows security, IIS and storage components and Oracle Database

ESS1040: User Experience Visual Designer
Location: Chicago, IL Duration: Approx. 7 wks, but possible extension
Overview:
Designer to work with 9-person team building interactive user experiences for online retailer. Responsible for prioritizing, evaluating and elevating the visual design of the user experience. Should be aware of industry trends, best practices and technical advances as they relate to user interface design.

ESS1039: SCRUM Project Manager

Overview:
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Scrum Coach to help take NAVTEQ's Agile product development process to the next level.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrable ability to train and mentor accepted Agile processes; will be a champion of best practices, effective processes, and high-quality software.
In addition, he/she will be a natural leader, with a passion to proactively seek ways to improve processes.
This is a role for a seasoned Scrum Coach, who has been in the trenches and is eager to apply their hard-earned knowledge and experience to creating a first-rate Agile development capability
Responsibilities:
Provide guidance as needed to Scrum/AGILE teams during all components of Sprints. The following is a partial list of activities that can require guidance from the Scrum Coach:
- Drive sprint planning and estimation
- Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings
- Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress
- Work with a cross-functional team including Engineering, System Test, Product Management, Operations, and Quality
- Standardize Scrum practices across multiple Agile teams
- Communicate key performance information to the wider organization
- Mentor team members on Agile principles and responsibilities

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Agile project management experience, preferably in an enterprise scale environment
- Certified Scrum Master qualification or 2+ years experience working as a Scrum Master
- Certified Scrum Coach qualification or 2+ years experience working as a Scrum Coach
- Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
- Proven ability to build motivated, collaborative and productive development teams
- Methodical, detail oriented, efficient, organized, resourceful, highly productive, a true self-starter
- A commitment to mentoring, coaching and evangelizing Agile across the organization
- Thorough understanding of Agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures
- Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency expected
